Yegna Cross-Border Level 2-B Freight Transport Owners’ Association is established in accordance with The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Transport Proclamation No.468/2005, Articles 13 and 14 in 12 October 2010. It is founded with fifteen members having twenty three vehicles so as to provide freight transport services from Djibouti to Mojo (from port to port) as well from these ports to various destinations of Ethiopia.
Primarily, it is established to alleviate completely the troubles various Associations had faced with. The management of Yegna comprises of Board Members who are elected from the members, general manager, audit and inspection and three departments. Yegna has two coordinating branch offices at Djibouti and Mojo for transport facilitation. It always endeavors to provide quick and reliable freight transport services both at the head office and its branches.
